We don't often get feedback on our property reports. I guess most of the time the homebuyer is acutely aware of what is out there, and using our reports to confirm a suspicion already founded.

But occasionally there is a lot going on, and occasionally we have a client who has genuinely been unlucky in the places they have lived regarding noise exposure, and looking for more to find a place of reprieve. We had one of those cases this week for somebody looking at property in Perth, and admittedly it felt great to help them out, which earnt the following response we are keen to share:

"Oh wow, that's really clear and helpful thank you!

Definitely had aircraft at the ***Address #1*** house but it didn't annoy much - but it was also less of a factor due to ***Address #2*** being significantly more loud. But you are correct it was majority Perth airport. The ***Suburb for Address #1*** area was definitely horrible (but 99% of it was due to Jandakot) - and the map definitely shows that to a tee.

Just confirming the 15dB reduction for the ***Address #1*** property you mentioned - that means that the ***Address #3*** home came out 15dB(A) lower (positive) with respect to road noise? That would make the most sense to me but it definitely was more intermittent at ***Address #1*** - whether that plays into it or not. The house would occasionally genuinely shake when a truck drove past!
